Unsteady walking or even had a fall

Anybody can have a fall, at any age. However, as we get older the chance of a fall becomes greater. Around a third of people aged 65 and over (UK 4,000,000 approx), and around half of people aged 80 and over, fall at least once a year. Falling is a cause of distress, pain, injury, loss of confidence, loss of independence and unfortunately, even mortality. It is better to take action before things get that far.

The NHS advises “There are ways you can reduce your risk of having a fall, including making simple changes to your home and doing exercises to improve your strength and balance.” However, we take that one stage further. Instead of generic exercises, we offer exercises that are based upon how you as an individual are walking, thereby, more quickly reducing your  potential for a fall and doing so much quicker.

We can visit your home and analyse you in your own surroundings. The process is quick and easy, we place 6 sensors over your clothing and all you have to do is walk a few metres in a straight line. We give you your report and offer your tailored exercises and we can even come back and reassess you to show you your improvement.

We can also offer VoxxLife wearable technology to help improve your wellness and mobility.
